4 TIPS IN CHOOSING THE RIGHT PHOTOGRAPHER/VIDEOGRAPHER FOR YOUR WEDDING

Hi!! My name is Bre! I am a wedding photographer specializing in candid/documentary style. With so many photographers and videographers in the industry, I wanted to give a few tips to those trying to figure out who to book. And no I am not saying you have to book with me! Here are just a few things to consider when trying to find the right photo/video duo for you :)

#1: You love their personality, you guys vibe!

Apart from your fiancé, you will be spending almost all day with your photographer/videographer. It is so important that you feel comfortable around them and that you can call them your bestie at the end of the day.

#2: You love their style

What sets each photographer/videographer apart is the way they shoot & edit. Do you like light and airy, dark and moody, true to color? Make sure you hire the style you like, that way you are pleased with the final product :) My style is very bold with rich, true to life color!

#3: They are within budget and/or you want to invest in them

Wedding photography/videography is an investment! These memories will last you forever, and you get what you pay for. So just be sure you set aside a budget for this and splurge if needed ;) I’ve had clients do payment plans as well to help spread the cost!

#4: You are confident that they will capture your day how you are envisioning

At the end of the day, you should be able to trust your photographer/videographer! Make sure they use contracts, have clear communication, and a good portfolio. I definitely recommend asking if their team has ever shot at your venue and for FULL galleries! These things will help you feel confident in whoever you choose.
